Sweating is a normal, healthy bodily function – but excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, can be a problem for some people. If excessive sweating is affecting you, treatments are available.
A popular treatment for hyperhidrosis is Botox. This uses a weakened version of botulinum toxin A, which is gently injected into the affected area (usually the underarms).
The toxin will block the chemical that activates the sweat glands, enabling you to stay dry. You’ll start to see results in around five days and the treatment is effective for up to six months.
These injections relax the tiny sweat glands located just under the skin. These sweat glands normally produce sweat, which then travels up the sweat duct and out through the pores onto the surface of the skin. With these sweat glands in a more relaxed state, they no longer over produce sweat and that excessive sweat is no longer seen or felt at the skins surface.

While anti-relaxing injections relax the muscles that cause creases, dermal fillers are injected directly into wrinkles and folds to lessen their appearance thereby restoring a smoother looking face. Dermal fillers can be used to replace lost volume too, plumping and lifting cheeks and defining the contours of the chin, jawline and temples.
Dermal fillers are made from Hyaluronic Acid a substance naturally found in our bodies. It is adapted slightly to give the dermal filler its properties.
One popular treatment using dermal fillers is the tear trough area, the space between the lower eyelids and the cheeks. As we age, the loss of subcutaneous fat, collagen and elastin leads to a thinning and hollowing out of this area, resulting in darkening and loose skin.
Sometimes more than one filler type from a range is required in order to achieve the desired outcome across different facial areas.

Viscoderm Hydrobooster is usually most effective when administered for the areas of movement on the face, such as the perioral area, periocular, and forehead, to reduce the likelihood of more wrinkles occurring.

DESO Body/Face are state-of-the-art fat dissolving injectable products designed to treat those difficult localised pockets of fat.
Areas that can be treated include a ‘double’ chin, the arms, abdomen, flanks, buttocks, inner knees, thighs and back or bra ‘rolls’. Depending on the area treated and the amount of fat involved, several sessions may be required to achieve the desired result.
DesoBody fat dissolving injections are designed to completely destroy and remove fat cells. These are injections of an acid that is produced by the human liver, called Deoxycholic Acid Solution.
